Hello, everyone! Juliet here!!

I've said it many, many times on Discord by now, but I wanted to take the time to thank everyone so, so much for playing in my game, whether you only had time for a couple tags here and there or you went ham. This was my first time modding a DWRP game, never mind a murder game, and my second time being in a murder game at all. It was an incredibly insightful experience from beginning to end, and I am deeply, deeply grateful for the incredibly experienced LB and Fyre for advising me and assisting with modwork.

The primary thing I fretted about was whether I could run something that was fun for all my players! (The second thing I fretted about was making a game that felt "Utena"-ish to both those canon familiar and canon blind, and I feel what makes Utena "Utena" is very different for both camps - but that's chatter best left to Plurk!) I've mentioned I'm a TTRPG DM first and foremost, and while some of this translates to DWRP modding, a lot does not! As the game continued, I could see various pain points due to my inexperience. We did what we could to alleviate them, though I recognize not everything in the structure I'd set up could be ironed out.

However, I was thrilled whenever I saw anyone doing something they clearly enjoyed, or expressed interest and excitement about the game. I was always happy when a player was curious enough to poke the setting, or took something I'd written up and ran away with it to build even juicier CR. I love running things for friends because I love being able to enable their fun and see what crazy, creative things they come up with that I wouldn't have even thought of on my own. If people came away from this game having had a good time, then I'm incredibly satisfied and I hope I can use any feedback people have to offer me to provide an even better experience if I spearhead a game again.

As such, I'd love to solicit any and all thoughts you all might have: what you might have liked; what you didn't like; what could have done better; any miscellaneous comments? Comments will be screened! You can discuss anything from game content to how bots were used in the server— the world is your suggestions box!

If there's something you'd like clarification on, or something you'd like to discuss, I encourage you to make a ticket! It's much easier for me to do back and forth in Discord tickets (sorry!!) than in Discord DMs or on Dreamwidth. That said, if it's easier on you, it's totally fine to leave a comment here and just link it in a ticket. Whatever makes this more accessible!

Once again, thank you all so, so much for playing. It was a joy to see what fun and wacky ideas people came up with, and what frankly incredible CR came out of it. You're all amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of players for my very first game ever ❤︎
